The London Walking & Cycling Conference is a renowned annual Conference that brings together the leading voices in the field of active travel from across the world to discuss innovative ways in which cities can make walking, cycling and wheeling the default choice.
Since the event began in 2012 as the Hackney Cycling Conference it has grown into a popular and well-respected part of the sustainable transport calendar for anyone working in the industry or with even a passing interest.

The Venue

The Conference is returning to the Guildhall for the fourth time. This versatile venue has hosted events for nearly two thousand years, and we’re very excited to gather in such a unique space at the heart of the city once again.
Walking and cycling tours
A popular feature of every Conference are the walking and cycling tours after lunchtime.
If you are interested in taking part, please email alex.nettle@hackney.gov.uk your name, the tour you would like to attend, emergency contact details and any accessibility requirements.
The cycling tour will require you to bring your own cycle. Cycle parking will be provided at the venue by sponsor Greasemonkey.
